slide Day 1Montecatini Terme

Depart from your hotel at 4:00 PM for an orientation tour of Montecatini Terme. Discover the town’s rich history of restorative waters and baths dating back to Roman times and see why it is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site. Your hotel is centrally located amid the town’s elegant architecture and close to shopping and restaurants. Enjoy a welcome drink and dinner with your group at the hotel this evening. (D)
Visit the medieval town of Pisa to see the famed Leaning Tower and its neighboring buildings in the marvelous Piazza dei Miracoli: the grand white marble cathedral and the amazing round baptistry. Next go to Lucca, a beautiful walled city with cobblestone streets where you’ll have time for independent exploration and lunch. You might choose to visit some of the hundred churches for which this small city is known, admire the medieval architecture of the towers, or buy a souvenir from the shops specializing in artisanal paper, ceramic, jewelry, and leather products. This evening, visit Fattoria il Poggio, an ‘agriturismo’ farm that embodies the spirit of sustainability. Explore the vineyard and olive grove, savor wine and olive oil tastings, and sit down with your group for traditional, home-cooked cuisine. (B, D)

Tuscan Treasures with Cinque Terre - 8 Days/7 Nights - highly recommended

Very nice tour. Guide for the entire tour Mossimo was superb. Nice balance between city, countryside. There were excellent local guides for Pisa, Florence, Siena, Cinque Terre. There was plenty of free time and it was very nice to stay in one hotel with day trips, rather than packing every morning.

Gorgeous sights, sublime vino, and stunning vistas!

The itinerary was terrific. We saw places many travelers don't visit - like Vinci. The driver, Alessandro was skilled and pleasant. the tour director, Giuseppe was nothing short of genius! Best tour guide I have worked with in 15 years.

Forever rememberable

The only thing I would have like to see more of is Pisa. The tower did not hold the excitement I was looking forward to, although it was very cool. I think I would like to have 10 days instead of 8.

We were completely pleased with this tour! Our guide was very knowledgeable, informative, helpful and friendly. Our driver was also very good. We enjoyed the itinerary and beautiful scenery! And the best part was staying at one hotel for the entire tour! It was wonderful!
