Best of Ireland South (Tour C) - 7 Days/6 Nights
Very fun and relaxing trip with CIE Tours
Everything was preplanned by CIE , it was stress free and a lot of fun ,everything from meals to hotels and activities was planned by them and all we had to was enjoy! Our bus driver and guide P.J. was excellent , very informative of area culture and places of interest , could not have been more relaxed and fun trip ! Planning the next one with CIE !!!

The trip was planned perfectly and included unique local experiences. We loved all the planned stops and experiencing local foods and the local culture. The guide was knowledgeable and fun. We all loved her!

Taste of Ireland (Tour A) - 7 Days/6 Nights
I loved the whole visit to Ireland. Tour guide John was great! Very knowledgeable, professional and witty. The itinerary (Taste of Ireland) covered everything I wanted to see. Nothing disappointing. Would definitely recommend C.I.E tours.

A lot of fun visiting sites throughout the area accompanied, usually, by an additional tour guide. Good company, good food and a lot of beautiful ground covered.

The Irish Pub Tour - 9 Days/8 Nights
Amazing Pub Tour. Highly recommend
We had the best time on our CIE pub tour. I wasn't convinced we'd find a tour that included so many of the places we wanted to see, including Sean's Bar in Athlone... so imagine my surprise when this tour included it! Frankie was our driver/guide and he was super fun, drove that bus with ease and gave so much information and had fun personal stories.

Classic Journey - Italian Lakes to Rome - 10 Days/9 Nights
A Spectaculor Tour of Italy
First, any questions I had prior to the trip were answered by a LIVE operator who always answered the phone and gave great advice. They were curteous and very helpful. Secondly, all the tour guides in Italy, including our main guide, Andrea, were exceptional! Andrea knew her history, architecture, and additional perks of information that made our trip extra special. She was extremely helpful and took care of all of us as if we were her "kids". And the local guides were also very informative and friendly. The hotels were fantastic in regard to comfort and location; and the breakfasts that were included were phenomenal. The cities and towns we toured were also well worth visiting. There was never a dull moment. I can't pick a single town out and call it my favorite because ALL the places we visited were the best of the best. I only wished I had more time to tack on the additional tour to Sorrento, Isle of Capri, etc. My tour friends sent me photos and that looked amazing. Being age 69 and my husband 78 years old, this tour does require being in decent shape to be able to walk all the tours that were scheduled. We made it through all of them and appreciated starting out early because as the day went on, the more crowded our destinations would be.

Lovely country and people
I greatly enjoyed the beautiful country and the choice of experiences. Our guide was very knowledgeable and accommodating. I particularly liked the excursions over water, especially Loch Lomond, and the time at Sterling castle. I would have liked a bit more free time to explore Glasgow —it’s such an interesting city!

our tour driver and bus driver were excellent. Bus was always clean and the bus driver John was an amazing driver. hotels were fabulous, bedding and pillows were so comfortable, I didn’t want to get up. An accurate explanation of coming events was presented before we arrived.

Our tour guide Joe, was very kind, informative, kept us organized and made our vacation adventure fun and refreshing.
Our bus driver, Gerry kept us safe
Also Joe and Gerry showed personal interest and care for us as individuals. It’s fantastic to see both of them, enjoying their job and making our experience amazing!

Scottish Clans & Castles - 10 Days/9 Nights
Pace
It was a rigorous pace for people over 65. I think we needed more time at some castles. I barely got through the castle and did not see the gardens. I didn’t think we needed to ride as much. Perhaps the tour should be limited to 3-4 estates and not 8 castles. I enjoyed the farm but did not like changing hotels every 2 days. It leads to long days.

Taste of Scotland & Ireland - 11 Days/10 Nights
Enjoyable tour of highlights of Scotland and Ireland
CIE tour of Scotland and Ireland in early May was the first guided tour my husband and I have taken, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. We got to see many of the highlights of both countries while transported on a comfortable bus by knowledgeable guides and driver. We especially enjoyed seeing the natural sights, including the Scottish highlands, the Irish coast and Cliffs of Moher, and the beautiful gardens in Ireland. The food was excellent, including the meals we ate at local pubs and restaurants while on free evenings (and reasonably priced). Our hotels were all comfortable and many were very upscale in amenities. We also liked the talks the guides Laurence and Meg gave on the history of the places we visited. All of the locals we met were friendly and welcoming. Both my husband and I highly recommend CIE tours for their well organized and enlightening tours.

CIE Impresses Again
We chose to use CIE Tours as our tour guides in Scotland after our fabulous trip with them in Ireland. They did not disappoint. The guide and the bus driver were second to none on their knowledge of Scotland and extremely personable. The stops that CIE chose for our tour were excellent. We saw so much and the tour wanted us coming back for more, which we will do in the future. We highly recommend CIE Tours for planning your trip to Scotland!
